神明鳥居
The Shinmei Torii uses straight materials, giving it a simple and straightforward appearance. The top horizontal beam, known as the kasagi, and the nuki beam below it are both made of planks, while the pillars are round and set vertically. This type of torii is commonly found at shrines dedicated to deities protecting the nation, such as Amaterasu.
