The first building you see after passing through the torii gate is the Kaguraden, adorned with a large shimenawa.
Built by the second generation of the Tachikawa school, Tsumashige, in 1835, the Kaguraden has a T-shaped structure with a gabled roof at the front and a hipped roof at the back.
The entire building is unpainted, giving it a simple appearance.

The katanogareden on either side of the heiden are simple corridor-style buildings without carvings.
Historical records from the Edo period refer to the heiden as "emperor's house" and the haiden as a corridor.
