高橋神社
2216 Nakaminowa, Minowa Town, Kamiina District
Known as Oide Takahashi Shrine, located in Minowa Town.
The approach continues from the Sanshu Kaido, and within the shrine grounds stands a large hackberry tree with a root circumference exceeding 4 meters.
Founded in 1345, it was also known as Sansha Gongen.
A wooden Ryobu torii gate stands at the front.
There are four lanterns enclosed in wire mesh, an irimoya-zukuri style worship hall, and behind it, the shelter and the main hall.
The main hall, built in 1709, is the oldest shrine building in Minowa Town, crafted by master carpenter Shoemon Maruyama from the former Habamura village.
The architectural style is a three-bay Nagare-zukuri, featuring a double-layered eaves structure and square pillars for the front porch, with round pillars used for the main structure.
The building includes an encircling veranda, decorative railings, and side panels with bamboo node carvings.
This structure incorporates numerous carvings and is considered innovative for an early 18th-century building.
