諏訪神社
Koide, Nishiharuchika, Ina City
Suwa Shrine in the Koide district, located in a place overlooking Ina City.
Across the highway stands Jorinji Temple of the Soto sect, surrounded by many trees.
A torii gate is built on the south side of the sloping shrine grounds, with a kagura hall at the bottom of the approach and the worship hall at the top.
In the protective structure behind the worship hall, plaques for Suwa Shrine and Hachiman Shrine are displayed, and Suwa Shrine on the right side is designated as a cultural property of Ina City.
It is a single-bay Nagare-zukuri with a carved gable overhang on the front.
The shaft and carvings are made of unfinished keyaki wood.
The method often seen in the works of Tachikawa Tomimasa, with carvings in the two-tiered bracket arms, is observed.
The carving of a hermit riding a crane on the front of the eaves is considered excellent.
