子安社
Ashizawa, Misuzu, Ina City
Located on a slope near the border of Ina City and former Takato Town.
Koyasu Shrine, Hachiman Shrine, and Myogi Shrine are housed together in a covering structure, with Tenmangu Shrine nearby.
Historically protected as the prayer site of Takato Castle lords, the shrine was rebuilt in its current location in 1665 after a landslide destroyed the original.
The approach features a wooden torii with shrine names and a stone torii further along.
At the end of the stone steps, the main shrine is flanked by Tenmangu Shrine on the left and various small shrines on the right.
Each small shrine has its own torii, creating an impressive scene.
Inside the covering structure, the Hachiman Shrine on the right was built in the Meiji period.
The central Koyasu Shrine dates from the late 19th century.
The Myogi Shrine, a cultural asset, dates back to the 17th century.
All three shrines are of similar size, with intricate carvings on their wooden features.
The Myogi Shrine's main hall is a single-bay nagare-zukuri style with shingle roofing, featuring beveled square pillars.
Though faded, the original color decorations are still visible.
The structure includes various wooden elements and detailed carvings of carp, deer, and boar.
The architecture shows influences from the late Muromachi to Momoyama periods.
