田端天神社
Tenjin Shrine, enshrined as the guardian deity of the Tabata district.
Currently, only the main hall and the covering structure over it remain.
The shrine building, originally constructed by Fujimori in the late Edo period, was relocated to its current location due to the construction of the JR Chuo Line, which runs along the mountainside near its original site.
The main hall, housed within the covering structure, was built in the late Edo period by Fujimori.
Fujimori Hirohachi, a disciple of Osumi-ryu master carpenter Hara Gozaemon who worked exclusively for Suwa Taisha Kamisha, also constructed the Okoto Suwa Shrine.
The main hall of Tenjin Shrine features round pillars on a raised platform, with railings wrapping around the front and sides.
The architectural style is primarily Japanese, incorporating Zen-style taiwa (beam) on the pillar tops.
