Takebe Taisha, located in Otsu City as the Ichinomiya of Omi Province, enshrines Yamato Takeru no Mikoto as Takebe Okami.
It is said that Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed for its revival during his exile to Izu, and after his wish was granted, the shrine became known as a deity of success and good fortune.

The main gate is a thatched kirizuma-zukuri style.
It has a large central gate and side doors.
The worship hall is a square structure with dimensions of 3 ken by 2 shaku on each side, featuring a hip-and-gable roof.
The entrance to the worship hall has a gable roof.
A connecting roof leads from the worship hall to the inner gate and sacred fence that enclose the main hall and auxiliary hall.
The auxiliary hall serves as a temporary shrine during renovations of the main hall.

The shrine grounds feature many auxiliary and subordinate shrines, each built in the nagare-zukuri style. Although none are large, their orderly arrangement creates a beautiful setting.
