高岳神社
8-5-8 Nishiimajuku, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture
Located in Himeji City, this shrine is enshrined as the fifth shrine of Harima Province.
It has been revered by the imperial court and local governors since ancient times.
In the first year of the Enryaku era, Tamuramaro Sakanoue prayed for military fortune, and in the Kangen era, Tokimasa Hojo dedicated swords and other offerings.
The shrine is located at the summit of a low hill known as Hamaguri-yama, featuring large, buried rocks.
The entrance has a Myojin-style torii gate, with the approach road continuing across the road.
Stone steps lead up Hamaguri-yama, where a massive rock, called Hamaguri-iwa, towers behind the main hall and worship hall.
This rock is considered a sacred rock at the center of the shrine's spiritual area.
Today, the shrine is introduced on various websites as a power spot believed to enhance financial fortune, attracting significant attention.
