Masumida Shrine, located in the center of Ichinomiya City, is one of the ichinomiya of Owari Province. The shrine, dedicated to Ame-no-hoakari-no-mikoto, is loved for its cultural significance. Its proximity to Ichinomiya Station and its established surroundings highlight its importance in the community. The shrine was historically revered for overseeing the region's development and is associated with the Owari clan. The current main and worship halls, restored in 1957, feature modern reconstructions after the original Owari-zukuri structures were destroyed in 1945.
Previously, the shrine featured unique Owari-zukuri architecture, but these structures were lost in 1945. The current main and worship halls were restored in 1957, and the main gate in 1961. To the right of the main hall is the subsidiary Fukiori Shrine, reflecting the area's textile industry heritage.
