諏訪神社春宮
Miyamura, Takayama Village, Kamitakai District
The Suwa Shrine in Warabi-daira is built within a sloping village.
The shrine features a Ryobu torii gate, and from the approach path, you can see the Kaguraden, Haiden, and Honden.
Designated as a village cultural asset, the Honden is less than 1 meter wide and simply finished with plain wood.
The carpenter who built the Honden was from Echigo Province, which is reflected in the Echigo-style architecture.
In addition to the Spring Shrine, an Autumn Shrine is also established, serving the local faith.
