Maki, Takayama Village, Kamitakai District
Located at the entrance of Yamada Onsen in the Maki district of Takayama Village.
Stone steps lead up to a Ryobu Torii gate, and beyond it stands the shrine building.
Both the worship hall and the main hall are designated village cultural properties, adorned with exquisite carvings.
The worship hall, built in 1880, features a gabled roof and copper plating, with numerous carvings adorning the gable decorations and central support.
The main hall, also a village cultural property, is housed within the worship hall and features a richly colored single-bay nagare-zukuri structure.
The entire structure is coated in black and vermilion lacquer, with the brackets, rainbow beams, and other elements showcasing the styles of the time.
