鬼無里神社
274-1-i, Kinasa-machi, Nagano City
Kinuya Shrine is located in the central village of the former Kinasa Village on the way from Nagano City to Okususobana.
It is situated slightly off the straight road lined with houses, on a small hill.
In front of the stairs leading to the shrine grounds stands a wooden Myojin Torii gate.
It is said that in the 8th century, Sakanoue no Tamuramaro prayed here for the conquest of the Emishi.
The main hall, designated as a village cultural property, is located within a covering structure, and there is a plaza in front of the worship hall.
Although there are no particularly unusual buildings, the shrine is revered as the guardian deity of the area.
