Summit of Mount Kodanmine
The Okumiya (rear shrine) of Kodanmine Shrine, located in Aoki Village, built on the summit of Mount Kodanmine.
Kodanmine Shrine is associated with the "Komayumi God" and is believed to be a deity related to horses. During the Sengoku period, a fortress was built on Mount Kodanmine, further linking the shrine to battles.
Mount Kodanmine has long been revered as a sacred mountain, and its unique shape reflects its spiritual significance.
The two shrine buildings at the summit are both constructed in the *Ichimonsha Nagare-zukuri* style, facing south towards Aoki Village.
The primary deity enshrined is Kimata no Kami, with Takeminakata no Tomi no Mikoto also enshrined in the same hall.
The shrines are small, simple wooden structures with unadorned metal roofs.
