諏訪神社下社
Sakita, Sakuho Town, Minamisaku District
Located in the village of Sakita, west of Yachiho Station, surrounded by fields.
There are two Suwa Shrines, an Upper Shrine and a Lower Shrine, separated by a distance of about 100 meters.
The Upper Shrine is situated halfway up a slope to the west and features a main hall built in the 4th year of the Meiji period.
This main hall is adorned with intricate carvings on all sides.
The Lower Shrine faces the Upper Shrine with a wooden torii gate.
The only structures are the worship hall and the main hall, both enclosed by a covering structure.
Both have small-scale gabled roofs.
The main hall inside the worship hall is a small nagare-zukuri.
It has a veranda and side screens attached to the front and sides.
There are no large carvings, and the overall structure is simple with minimal decoration.
