The main hall behind the worship hall is a single-bay nagare-zukuri structure by the Tachikawa school.
It features various carvings, such as karajishi (Chinese lions) on the nosing of the pent roof, dragons on the connecting parts to the main building, and hawks on pines on the rainbow beams.
The intricate carvings include peony baskets on the ornamental struts, koi climbing waterfalls on the walls beside the doors, and peonies and Chinese lions, as well as tigers in bamboo groves on the side screens, all showcasing the characteristics of the Tachikawa school.

The Suwa Shrine in Ina City, built around the same time as Iyahiko Shrine's main hall, is another example of the Tachikawa school's work. While there are differences in the detailing, such as the dragon carvings, it indicates that different craftsmen from the Tachikawa school were involved in each project.
