北熊井諏訪社

Located along the highway from Matsumoto to Shiojiri, near Ushibuse Shrine and Haniwara Shrine. The torii gate is a distinctive Ryobu-torii. Surrounded by cedar trees, the approach leads to a kagura hall.

北熊井諏訪社

Passing by the kagura hall, you enter the shrine grounds, which include a gateball court. The main worship hall stands at the front, with the large main hall inside a large covering behind it.

The wooden torii gate at the entrance is accompanied by a chozuya. Climbing the stone steps, you reach the city-designated cultural property worship hall, constructed by Tateka Tomitake and Ito Shozaemon.

北熊井諏訪社

The main hall is designated as a prefectural treasure and is relatively large. It features many carvings typical of the Okuma style, such as dragons and phoenixes. The complexity and intricate details of the woodwork are remarkable.
