水無神社

Minashi Shrine is located on a slope near the national road leading from Shiojiri to Gifu.
Surrounded by fields, a long stone stairway leads to the shrine.
It is said that the shrine, revered by locals, was established here by inviting the deity from the Minashi Shrine, the first shrine of Hida in Gifu Prefecture.
On the way up the stone stairway stands a stone Torii gate, and upon entering the shrine precinct past the shrine signboard, there is a second Torii gate.
The worship hall, with a gabled roof and a flat entrance, is connected to the main hall by a suspended corridor.
Next to the main hall, three shrine buildings stand side by side, each reflecting the architectural style of the late Edo period.
The small shrine buildings, all of the same size and style, feature iron plate roofs and no bracket complexes, with the beams placed directly on the pillars.

The main hall, connected by a suspended corridor to the worship hall, is in the Shinmei-zukuri style with chigi and katsuogi on the roof.
Though surrounded by a fence, the details of its style resemble those of Shinmei Shrine in Omachi City, with its roof and supporting pillars similar to the nagare-zukuri style.
On the opposite side of the main hall from several of the precinct shrines is a temporary shrine, indicating the presence of deities associated with the Shinmei-zukuri style.
