雲根白山社

Beside Route 19 running along the Sai River, Hakusan Shrine stands on a nearby slope. In 1698, the shrine was enshrined from Hakusan Hime Shrine, the ichinomiya of Kaga Province. Surrounded by a dim cedar forest, a small shrine quietly stands.

The shrine consists of a worship hall and a small main hall built in 1800 by Echigo carpenter Cho-hachi. Two of the three lanterns in front of the shrine were erected in the Edo period.
