Hachimansya

Located on the border of Ikusaka Village and Ikeda Town is Hachiman Shrine.
It is said to have been enshrined by Sonehara Saemon, a retainer of the Nishina family, during the Tenbun era.
Situated halfway up the deep mountains of the Akitsu Okubo district, the southern side is a steep slope offering a panoramic view of the Northern Alps and the mountains of Azumino. However, due to the narrow road width and steep road gradient, special caution is required, especially during winter visits.
There is no torii gate at the entrance to the shrine, and an irimoya-style Kaguraden stands at the front.
This shrine layout is commonly seen in the vicinity of Ikusaka Village, with the Kaguraden located at a slightly higher level.

To the right of the worship hall are dilapidated auxiliary shrines dedicated to Ontake, Kojin, and Gozu Tenno, and to the left are Mitsumine, Tenjin, Yama no Kami, Konpira, and Hosho shrines.
The main hall is located on a slope above the worship hall, housed within an outhouse.
It is a one-bay nagare-zukuri style built in the early Edo period.
It features double-layered overlapping rafters with demon faces attached in various places.
