Kyu Rinsenji Inarisya

Rinsenji Temple, once boasting a large scale in Azumacho, Ikeda Town, Chushin, still has a narrow path called Rinsen Daimon-dori.
Rinsenji Temple was built in the mid-Muromachi period in 1536, and the Inari Shrine is believed to have been located north of the main hall.
The structure contains not only the Inari Shrine but also a small shrine housing Fudo Myoo.

The Inari Shrine is a small single-bay Nagare-zukuri style structure with minimal carvings and decorated with patterned designs.
The structure features four kashira, a style seen in the early Edo period.
The shrine displays other characteristics typical of that era, such as decorative patterns on the door lintel adorned with chrysanthemum motifs and closed with Hachisou metal fittings, indicating a preference for metal decorations.
The beautiful giboshi, with a rough shingle roof topped by a box ridge and ogi-ita attached at both ends, adds to the shrine's historical value.
