霧降宮切久保諏訪神社
Kirikubo Oobayashi, Kitaazumi-gun, Hakuba Village, 12327
The Suwa Shrine in the Kirikubo area, near the Hakuba Iwatake Ski Resort, is dedicated as the local tutelary deity and is believed to have been founded in the Kamakura period. It is thought to have been enshrined from Suwa Taisha to protect the Chikuni Sho estate.
A Ryobu Torii stands at the entrance, with a bridge and river running alongside the shrine grounds. The shrine's main building, built on a slope, includes a gabled worship hall and several smaller shrines. The main hall, built by Yokota Kiheiji, is a designated cultural property of Hakuba Village.
The main hall was built by Yokota Kiheiji of the Kinpara Suwo Sadakane family. Known for their work in Nagano Prefecture, the Yokota family's shrine buildings are recognized for their delicate and elegant construction, earning them cultural property status in Hakuba Village.
