国経営二柱神社
8585 Sakaizan, Chikuhoku Village, Higashichikuma District
A shrine located in the mountains of Chikuhoku Village, continuing from Omi Village to Shinanara Pass.
Nearby is a path leading to Angu Shrine, where a group of stone Buddhas are enshrined.
Stone steps lead to the shrine built within a sloped village. At the entrance stands a wooden ryobu torii gate.
To the right of the torii is the kagura hall, and directly facing it is the worship hall.
Such shrine layouts are commonly seen around Chikuhoku Village.
The main shrine, built within an attached building connected to the worship hall, is a one-bay kasuga-zukuri style.
There are railings on the front and sides, with a five-tier wooden staircase attached.
The sides feature sliding doors, and the eaves are supported by double-layered bracket arms. The main pillars are round, while the pillars of the eaves are chamfered square pillars.
Carvings are minimal, resulting in a very simple construction.
