諏訪神社

Suwa Shrine, located on the border between Matsumoto City and Azumino City, is commonly known as Nanokaichi Suwa Shrine due to its location.
Passing through the wooden torii gate at the front, you will find a stone monument at your feet.
Similar stone monuments are seen in front of the worship halls of other shrines in the Misato district of the same city, but it is unusual to find them embedded in the front of the shrine.
The spacious grounds in front of the worship hall have a shrine office on the right and a Konpira Shrine on the left.

The worship hall is an Irimoya-style building with a gabled roof, commonly seen around the Azumino area.
Directly behind it stands the main hall, built in the Ichinomiya-style, designated as a cultural property of Azumino City.

The main hall features carvings on the rainbow beams and the head rails, reflecting the characteristics of the 18th century when it was built.
The front showcases carvings of waves and cranes, the sides feature waves and rabbits, and clouds and dragons.
The transom includes sun and moon motifs, while the outriggers have carvings of tapirs.
There are no notable carvings on the side panels.
Due to the three enshrined deities, the one-bay hall has three doors at the front.
