大鳥造
This architectural style, which evolved from the *Taisha-zukuri* style, features a gable roof (*kirizuma*) with a front-facing entrance, unlike *Taisha-zukuri*, which typically has an entrance on one side.
Unlike *Taisha-zukuri*, this style lacks perimeter verandas (*en*), and also differs in the absence of ridge-supporting pillars (*munamochi-bashira*) and central pillars (*shinbashira*).
The interior is divided into an inner sanctuary (*naijin*) and an outer sanctuary (*gejin*).
